SASTER: What writers are you really not feeling?
PER: You know what? I’m not feeling the niggas that aint loyal and pretend to be cool out of personal interest, and as soon as opportunity knocks….. they forget where they came from. They know who they are! I’m not feeling the niggas that built their careers on being snitches. Snitches that snitch on little writers so they could get the green light to the yards to do their thing. No matter what I did in life I always kept it real, and never snitched!!! I earned my ranks!
Nobody gave me shit!! I’ll put it to you like this…. When you come up to a wall, and “if you know your Graff”, you know exactly what part everybody played on the wall. The shit aint a mystery!! I’m a graffiti artist to the fullest, which means -I rock style in the form of letters. I help out on backgrounds, but suck at characters. I aint afraid to admit anything! I still paid mad dues into Graff. If I had to throw in some names I think Ces is a fucking sell out and Eaz is fake. I just didn’t pick up on it soon enough I should have thought something was up when a nigga fronts like shit’s cool…. years go by and he never takes you to his house. That’s shiest waiting to happen.
And the rest of the fucking punks that jocked shit when FX was on top of the game. It’s all good. I stay painting. I know I’m far from perfect myself, but still. I kept it real with all the players on the team. It comes down to ‘you could please some of the people some of the time, but you cant please all of the people, all the time’.
Truth be told, CES was more to blame with FX coming apart ‘cause he wasn’t loyal to his team. He sucked SEEN’S dick and started listening to Seen and fell right into his trap. And all for what?? SEEN sonned him! I told him what that dude was about, but he didn’t listen to me, so now look.
Seen was a fucking snitch that built his career off other peoples shit. Mostly SHAME125 TOA. SEEN straight pimped him. See, I aint afraid to put niggas on BLAST about their true colors, cause I hold my own in all areas kid. I’m far from a punk!!
CES won’t speak on it, but he got the short end of the stick fucking with that dude! That shit with Seen went on for about 4 years before I fucking said ‘enough!!’ and cut [Ces] off the crew.
That hurt me cause I was true boys with him. In a lot of other areas of life not just Graff, but that’s the way it goes. While this was going on, I would get so pissed to the point that, at one time, I threatened him cause they did a hot wall and he didn’t represent. Plus there were a million other times that he did shit and I never got the call. Yet every time I had something brewing, he always got the call. Even when niggas would hate on the kid [cause he was nice with the style] I always stuck up for him, especially physically. See, PER was good for that!! That’s why I still have enemies now. Sticking up for niggas I knew couldn’t fight, but since they was part of the team, I wouldn’t let them catch a bad one.
SASTER: There is a saying that ‘friends will always let you down’. What friends have let you down and what are the reasons?
PER: I would have to say EAZ surely [let me down] most recently with the fuckin’ video thing he pulled!! To be honest the idea came from my brother-n-law, MED over at TUFF-CITY-TATTOOS.
MED always had good ideas on how to earn money legit, so we had a meeting at my house with MED, CES, YES2, EAZ, and myself. I had asked MED to finance the project because we didn’t have the funding. MED wanted to get involved, more than financially, and EAZ was totally against this. EAZ wanted to do all of the editing and special effects on the video himself, so I kept the idea and pursued it. I wrote everything that the video was supposed to cover. Story line, topics elaboration’s on each individual topic, you name it. I wrote it down and covered it all too well. EAZ and myself had enough footage [of which I still have to prove it] and dude didn’t even want me to view it, or have us both decided what was to be used or what was to be disregarded. Now explain how is it that I’m coming out in a video, and the FX name is being used [because it already has a following] and I can’t view the video for editing? That’s crazy.
Since then dude got shady. I wouldn’t say I didn’t try to kick it with the dude afterwards, because I yelled at him. That’s all I did! He had an underline motive to distance himself. See EAZ would call POEM five times a day when he lived in Arizona, asking for outlines and about FX. He knew POEM was his link to FX after he met CES and myself. He shitted on POEM, and honestly, I didn’t pick up on it. So, eventually he did the same as soon as he got a little recognition from painting with us. Next thing I know, this fake fuckin’ asshole is doing the video that I wrote. Everything was used, all the ideas I put into the script. Now he calls POEM and pretends like he’s working on a project, but wouldn’t reveal what it was. I had already schooled POEM on what EAZ was up to. He wanted POEM’S connections to distribute his video “FUTURE of GRAFFITI”, but POEM remained loyal to our friendship being that we bin boys since 1978 when we both started writing Graff. But here CES fuckin’ does an interview and paints with the same person that I had the pleasure of extracting out of FX! Aint that some shit?! I guess ‘Birds of a feather Flock together’.
Since they run on that shiesty shit they don’t see shit wrong. It’s cool though. Everybody has there day is all I have to say!! CES has let me down so many times. That’s a complete other Jerry Springer story. I can’t begin to count how many times I looked out for this kid. Yet he’s so scared that he never really cleared the air with me for fear that I may flip. Truth be told, I would never get physical with that dude, because I had sincere love for the kid. Plus beating up somebody you know that isn’t about fighting is some cowardly shit. So, there really wasn’t any gain there, but Christ!!
Get over that punk shit already! It aint about fighting at this point. I fought niggas for this kid, nearly got jumped by FC at the Graffiti Hall of Fame because I would stick up for this kid, got him $17000 for his portion of the FX video when he wanted nothing to do with Tommy Marron from Abstract Video, and do you know how many times I put him on with productions I was putting together? Yet every time some shit went down, dude never would give a nigga a call. Maybe 2 or 3 times in 10 years. Shit, I had to beat down his room mate cause he was shitting on CES. Listen, I invested $7000 on the BELTON paint. I was the first distributor of that product. I went to jail because of the guys from Europe, and you’d think a color came out in my name not?!?!
Yet, they gave my so called partner a color. Did he speak up for ME? NOT!!
Man, the story and bullshit goes on and on. Shit, the reason SEEN noticed him was cause he was rocking with us. SEEN wanted to bring his name back to push his web site. CES was the hot item, and he fell short of being true. That’s just the bottom line. That’s when the world stared wondering what was going on with FX. I still don’t have a canvas he owes me. We were supposed to trade [canvas’] with each other, and when I gave him mine, I got played. Trust me I had plenty of reasons to go upside the dudes head, yet didn’t. In an effort to be a different person since my names attached with violence. That wasn’t the route I preferred to take. Truth be told, a lot of dudes got on because of me, not to toot my own horn, but it’s true. DERO TFA knows the whole story as well. He just can’t believe the shit that went on! That’s most of it, but in the future, I’ll share with you stories about a few other members that only think of themselves and played themselves as well!! Trust me they know who they are!!
SASTER: You have mentioned that you were a big part in the reason why a bunch of artists have gotten such cushy paint deals. How did this happen?
PER: The paint deals came because as I mentioned I invested $7,000 and promoted the Belton paint. The crew itself [all members of the FX team] would get the call as soon as the shipment came in. Plus, I had a large portion of walls to display the paint on with FX comin’ up in the ranks. Everybody got interested in the product. I was in Italy say about 3 years ago, and someone threw me a bone to go there. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the main owners of the MONTANA. Paint that’s on the market now. I was testing’ out the MONTANA GOLD before it even hit the market I was selected to actually distribute the product since I did well with BELTON and got shitted on by the owner of Belton. Guess what got me shot down? It turns out that T-kid, who at the time I had no affiliation with, shitted on the MONTANA people for about $10,000. So since they thought that we were down with each other [witch we weren't] they decided not to take the chance and put me on. T-Kid aint no dummy I’m sure he had his reasons for doing such a thing. I think DASH from FC got put on after that because WANE FC, who’s very well connected, put in a good word for him. At least that’s what I heard. just hearsay, but I’m sure of why I didn’t get put on was that reason. Right now I don’t even care about that shit. I paint with any paint and still get it popping to the best of my ability
SASTER: Were there any rewards to getting involved with paint companies?
PER: None. They out to pimp artists. That’s the truth. And make money off of your recognition. Just look at the names that are on the cans. It surely aint unheard of people. It’s a marketing strategy.
SASTER: You have mentioned that there was a mission that FX Crew has. What is that mission?
PER: The mission was to establish world wide fame, which we did, thanks to a very good set of strong arms in Europe like DAIM,LOOMIT,HESH,KENT. New York as well. People like CES,YES2,POSE2,PER,POEM and SNOW just to mention a few. Eaz just jocked. He came way later..lol..its the truth shit makes me laugh…
SASTER: Has the FX Crew tackled this mission?
PER: Yea, I would say a lot of people were successful from the opportunities that the whole FX thing gave them it was a joined effort back then a few politics but we did rock the 90’s.
SASTER: What do you feel are good practices for the writers that are coming up in the game?
PER: Um, I would say bombing is fun, but anybody can do it . Improve your skills and you’ll have a great Graff career. I did the bombing thing as well, so it’s all different stages of the culture. It depends on where you’re at in life. I did my thing. Maybe not to the extent that others did, but I was there..OH, but I never turned snitch for fame!
SASTER: Do you feel graffiti has changed for better or worse?
PER: .I thinks it has gotten worse. The city is totally against it, and it doesn’t seem like that much of an effort is put forth. Nothing toward the development of artists’ abilities. I believe that’s why Europe just blew right by the USA.
SASTER: There is a big difference between writers. Quality is one type, and the other is ‘more is better’. Where do you feel you are categorized?
PER: I prefer quality as opposed to more, but even my throw ups have style. Can’t say that for most of the bombers now days..
SASTER: You have bombed heavily when you first started in the game and you have bombed with major players like JA One. What was that like?
PER: JA is straight crazy! I went once with him and I’ll never forget it. COPE and I were bombing all city. We brought JA, and man I never forgot that night . That dude just is sick!!! Bombs like a mad man!!! COPE doesn’t stay behind, but he’s just more cautious. JA doesn’t give a fuck! He will bomb anything that moves, or is still. I mean in a sick sense that I never seen before! That dude’s really obsessed with bombing.
SASTER: TATS cru was a big part in your career, what was that like?
PER: TATS CREW has done their thing. I commend them dudes. They still remain loyal to each other, and have set a precedent in what a crew should be. As well as taking Graff on a commercial level and being successful at it. I need to see BIO I need a LOAN!!!……ha ha..
SASTER: Eaz is a talented writer that has come up through to the majors. Do you feel that is because of the relationship that you have had with him?
PER: Yo, fuck EAZ! That niggas a jock hopper. He has talent crazy painting skills, but I’m my opinion he has no history. shit came easy. We put him on and his lettering style has come along way with our influence of course. Anybody can see that. Aside from that, dude has done shit with paint that I never seen anybody do. In fact, I would be lying if I said I didn’t learn a few things from him. I just wasn’t expecting him to cross me in that way. But such is life. He did offer me some sort of payment or for me to suggest something but I was to pissed off that just means he knows it was fucked up what he did. Enough about him moving on!! !He got some light because he got down with us and he could paint, but I have a question: DID YOU EVER HERE OF THAT DUDE BEFORE HE PAINTED WITH FX????? NOT!!!!!! Thank you …enough said.
SASTER: You have a DVD that was released on the FX Crew. How was that whole experience with you?
PER: The FX video was cool. but it did bring tension amongst the crew because everybody changes when it comes to the color of money. Nobody wants to get pimped or exploited. Plus, it’s hard to make decisions that affect some in some ways, and others in a different way. Shit just gets crazy. See, like the book, we were supposed to do, it was supposed to come out before COPE’S book, but since we had so many members and when I brought up certain issues to the people that wanted to produce the book, they didn’t give me the proper answers. Like proceeds, and how many books the crew was getting, a few other things as well. So it just didn’t fly. DAIM was the one that gave me the questions to ask, so I did and it. It just didn’t work out. COPE’S book was easy. He was just one person to deal with not a crew.
SASTER: Do you feel cheated in any way from that DVD experience?
PER: Cheated? Not really. At the time, shit seemed like the thing to do. Nobody had a DVD like we were about to put out. BIO from TATS did advise me to produce it amongst ourselves, and we didn’t. So, we’re sure that Abstract Video has made more than enough money off it, and he continues to make money today off of us. That’s why we sold the rights to him. Because we had no way of knowing how much was actually selling. Every place we call the video was always sold out, so we know it did well and continues to do well. It did give us plenty exposure. Especially since we got together with the fella’s from Germany. DAIM, LOOMIT, HESH, and KENT.
When PER is asked about who are the writer’s that he admires, PER answered:
PER: Writers that I admired? I would have to say ROCSTARS, the originals. They were from my hood. T-Kid170 has done nasty cars back in the day and is probably one of the old school writers that has evolved the most. To mention some names as far as piecing, I would say T-Kid TNB,Cos207 RocStars, Shy147,Tac 147 FBA, Dust UA and SEEN as well. Mitch77 Latin Artist. Vulcan was nasty. He rocked the Graffiti Hall of Fame. Skeme TNT,Dez TFA. I enjoyed seeing Baby168‘s stuff ‘cause my family was from Brooklyn. Dondi CIA, Lee Fab 5, Erni [PAZE] New Wave, and then came the later crews. TATS of witch at the time I was down with. Wow! Plenty of fights during that era. FBA, FC, BYB, TFA. Then came my favorite bombers. In Brooklyn: OE 3,P13, PGIZM, JA, VFR, MIN1RTW, RICH, SACH, QUIK, TK, KP, NEL106 BMT, DURO CIA just to mention a few. In the BX we had BAN2OTB,COPE2KD,MACK BIO BG TAT,PJ UA SEEN,DUST,EL KAY TLP,TUE,CAP smashed shit all day. OH, we mustn’t forget COMET and BLADE -The original TC5 before it was given to ‘Black SEEN’ who had some of the hottest hand style along with SKEME TNT. So many people. It was so much fun, now shit’s nothing like it was, but that’s the way shit is.. Life goes on!! Peeps, if you got offended by some of my statements, it’s cause they the truth its nothing personal the truth is the truth be it what it is!

The first cats, outside of the gallery scene like Crash Daze Lee Futura and Doze, to bring in the Euro paint was COD CREW, as far back as 91, when Wane and Poem went to germany the 1st time.
Then the COD tour of Scandanavia in 92.
Shit, Sento may even had brought some back before that in 89.
All through the 90’s we had the Bx writers buggin when we pieced with the ill colors nobody had.
We were bringing back Marabu Buntlack from germany, Quick from Norway, and Sparvar, and having niggaz strung out trading 5-10 Krylon flavors for a fucking can of German Paint.
Ya’ll niggaz got hip to that paint game after the fact. And ask Poem to tell you how Daim and Hesh ended up at your crib in the first place… He called WANE first, but changed his mind when we asked how much paint they had with them.. LO FUCKIN L!
My beef with you had little to do with Ces, it had everything to do with you running your mouth, and my pieces getting anonymously crossed out.
Your own crew members dont wanna fuck with you because contrary to your claim, you have a history of preying on weaker writers and strong arming dudes in your own crew.
But what happen when a real nigga step to you? You wilted like boiled spinach.
FC was not going to jump you in the hall of fame.. We were gonna jump you in the Bronx in 95, when my hand was broken… and Cope saved your ass that day.
In the Hall of Fame it was to be a fair one between us, and you said “I didn’t come here for that”, “That shit is dead”!

Dash dude i knew this interview would rehash old feelings i knew poem brought DAIM and HESH around where he met them I didnt know second is that you didnt know what was goining on internally with our crew and i don’t prey on anybodyweak or strong however shit went down there were reasons that led up to all the beefs. of obviously you werent aware of, ive always bin a fair person when WEST was painting with us on the 4 line by yankee stadium T-kid aproached him due to the JSON ISSUE I and prevented anything from happening so in my eyes theres was never a beef with FC till serve got thrown out of FC and he started some gossip.From what we hear your the one that wouldn’t stop commenting on us but it didnt matter. I would have crossed you out with my name like anybody else lil niggas did that because of your hatefull actions towards my boys in miami where you and your boy crossed out an FX production for no reasons or maybe you do have your resons..Your man FERN can tell you he bin around i never fronted ona 1-d except in the hall of fame where of course i was there with no-one but poem, kerz(who was parted from me for a moment) and “these gentelman arent the fighting type!” and approached by 5 of yall being surounded by DASH ,WEST BRUE,RISK JUICE. As for the FX video when my son brought a copy home, I could not believe there were kids out there doing this who had brains and could actually used them, to paint beautiful murals that make a difference to today’s youth such as my son. Lets not forget tha part where they tell there incredible journey of how they all got were they are today, tha train shit meant nothing to me son, like I said it is for no talent losers.

You guys are all over the place the only comments I seen that actually address PER Interview have been DASH and TKID. DASH if what you say is true, that makes PER a punk. I would like to stick on the subject which is what I read on Pers interview. Per how can you talk so much shit about CES. From what I saw back in the 90s CES really put FX on the map. Does he owe you money for real? Did you teach him how to paint? I noticed that the early cats that started with you in FX bailed, Why? Who started FX. I heard it was POSE2. Did Seen snitch on you to? I heard he was a snitch but no one really had proof. Or do you just call him that because you feel he stole CES from you. Why did EAZ leave FX? ARE their any members still in FX other then you? I would have liked to read about this. Instead I read an article based on hate and anger. As you see all that did was bread hate and contempt towards you PER. Do you see the lesson here? I hope in the second installment of your interview it sheds light on some of these questions. I am sure a lot of us readers would like to know the deal on this.

I don’t know what they beef is between FX and FC really is. They are both dope crews. I like the way FC drops their walls they got that 8os style. FX walls remind me of some shit out of Heavy Metal. Cats like EAZ, SKE, CES have awesome talent. I won’t comment on those European cats cause I really don’t like that style. One of my favorite walls that FX did was the One with PER and Cem.. Was that CEM TAC? Was he down with FX and who did the background on that wall? It was hot and why did TKID only have a tag on that wall. Why didn’t he do a piece? Risk please get in contact with Dash. I spoke to him earlier today regarding this matter which he will fill you in on. We FX, FC, and Cope must remember this site is full of characters, the same characters that hide behind bogus names, the same ones who look for opportunities like this one here to set things off. We must all think about what is being said here. This person, true 2 the game, must have some motive to either instigate something between us, or somehow thinks he or she can profit from this battle he/she is suggesting. We know this person can be anyone, it can be someone Per mentioned in his interview, a sour past FX member, someone who jumps from photo to photo, it can be anyone. But, we FX are sure its not one of us. I strongly urge everyone involved not to jump to conclusions here. The more comments that are left, the more we fuel this person on. Another thing you must also consider is if this person is supposedly an FX fan, as he claims to be, why try to escalate this thing into the mess it has now become? Why doesn’t he/she keep it positive? Why throw in negative stuff? This is not what a fan does. I recommend that we should all back away from this and leave this to the kids who look up to us all. We should not have to prove anything to anyone, we all know who we are and what we have done, and that is what counts.

It’s a known fact by now that you were put down with FX through me. It’s also a known fact, that before you came to New York you were NOBODY! I’m not saying you could not have come this far on your own because you could have but not as fast. I’m sure you could have gone far because you had painting skills when it came to backgrounds ONLY. Just like T-Kid said to Per, Ces never needed FX to blow up because he also had mad talent and was a kid who remained humble and loyal to his friends. These are two important traits you lack among others.
1) The thing that strikes me as being odd is how Tru 2 Tha Game, who by the way claims to be a “fan of FX crew”, also seems to want to promote violence as well. As I said in my reply to Risk, this is not a fan- at least not a fan anyone here wants.
2) This so called battle he/she suggests sounds like someone trying to prove something to himself/herself or to someone. I think, if it is you, you may feel that since you are not down with FX and are calling “FX dead”, we couldn’t compete without you if it came to a battle with FC. I know this is not true, because we can hold our own art wise if it did come to this point. However this is a situation we would not subject ourselves to. I believe we are both great crews only from different eras and with totally different styles of painting. As Dash FC said to Per, you are delusional if you are thinking this way. We were here before you came and will continue to be years to come. If anything it was only a matter of time before you got kicked out of FX anyway so it was best you left when you did, pal.
3) This person also sounds like he/she has a ton of time on his/her hands to carefully think out what he/she thinks would have the most impact and would be considered really funny. What is also interesting about your comments here, is that they project this same type of image; at least that’s how they come across to me. You guys can judge for yourselves.
4) I believe the only reason you recruited Cope for your video is to use his name and reputation to promote it. When you break it down to the absolute basics, if you are in the video by yourself, without having FX’s name associated with it, its not going to move. I’m sure you already knew this.
5) I believe you are using Cope, the man you call your “boy”, the same way you used me as a step to get down with FX and Cope’s reputation to sell your video. I also think it was sneaky the way you tried to get the name of my contact at Tower Records to distribute your video, of course you did not say what you wanted it for at the time.
I know you will never admit to any of this.
You probably felt that if I through Cope into the mix here this would steer any attention away from me. To come to think about it, it was a good move on your part. I’m also sure you did not realize I would pick up on what you were doing. I sat and watched, as I’m sure FC continues to do, because it is only a matter of time before a person makes a mistake.

Gentleman, I normally do not read every comment that is left here, but the “Vandal Slob” thing I must say did catch my eye as I’m sure did a few others here. I think Joe Blow is also none other than Tru 2 Tha Game, which makes a ton of sense now. What you guys seem to realize is that not all writers are illiterate or unintelligent. I, myself think, you guys should have more than enough time now to make your own donut runs. Nowadays I’m sure you are not catching anyone, even with your sophisticated infrared equipment. Plus there are ways around this. I am sure you may catch a toy every now and than or get Paulie Dime Dropper to throw you a bone, but that would be it. We- FX, FC, COD, GOD, YKK, and the many other top level crews here in New York, are the ones responsible for keeping you “Slobs” at the Vandal Squad headquarters’ employed. We are also the reason you make about $15.00 per hour if that much. We are also the reason you make enough money to be able to make your donut runs; what more could you ask for. It was a good try though I must admit, but your cover has been blown here. I think it would have made a lot more sense if you did not leave your comment here. As you said we would have been driving ourselves crazy pointing fingers at one another, trying to pinpoint just who this person actually was, but you just told us.
As for the phony police reports you mentioned, keep in mind that some of us have lawyers who represent us. You talk about your “history” like you have one; the only history I know of is your history of using people like pawns to move to the next level, just as I described in Part 1 here. I know most will agree with this comment with what I’m saying here, at least those who have dealt with you. 6) The comment that gave you away is not on this page as you already knew, because mysteriously a comment from Eaz now appears – how did you know where it was? The funny thing regarding the comment as I told Dash was I thought it was deleted by the people from this site, I thought they were keeping only what they felt would keep people coming in to create the most beef, which does happen here. 1. FX was a wrap after Sub left. Once Eaz got down, it only sealed the deal that FX was finished. most people outside of NYC when talking about FX always say that Eaz getting down was the point when the shit officially “jumped the shark.”
2. Per’s notoriously problematic. I know this, and I never met him.
3. Eaz got no letter style whatsoever. Look at that shit, really. He’s a “graffiti artist” at most, not a “graffiti writer.” Never paid no dues, doesn’t know how to do a throw up, no hand, and again, them letters are HURT. Who gives a fuck about pretty backgrounds when a dude’s letters are that wack? This dude is putting out a “how to” graff video? You gotta be kidding, right?

When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their

diatribes about how hard things were when they were growing up;
what with walking twenty-five miles to school every morning…uphill

And I remember promising myself that when I grew up, there was
no way in
hell I was going to lay a bunch of crap like that on kids about
how hard I had it and how easy they’ve got it!
But now that…
I’m over the ripe old age of thirty, I can’t help but look
around and notice the youth of today. You’ve got it so easy!
I mean, compared to my childhood, you live in a damn Utopia!
When I was a kid we didn’t have The Internet. If we wanted to
know something, we had to go to the damn library and look it up
ourselves, in the card catalog!!
There was no email! We had to actually write somebody a
letter… with a pen! Then you had to walk all the way across the street
and put it in the mailbox and it would take like a week to get there!
There were no MP3’s or Napsters!
You wanted to steal music, you had to hitchhike to the damn
record store and shoplift it yourself! Or you had to wait around all day
to tape it off the radio and the DJ’d usually talk over the beginning
and @#*% it all up!
We didn’t have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you were on the
phone and somebody else called they got a busy signal, that’s it!
And we didn’t have fancy Caller ID Boxes either!
When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It could be
your school, your mom, your boss, your bookie, your drug dealer, a
collections agent, you just didn’t know!!! You had to pick it up and
take your chances, mister!
We didn’t have any fancy Sony Playstation video games with
high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600 with games like
“Space Invaders” and “asteroids” and the graphics sucked ass! Your guy
was a little square..You actually had to use your imagination! And there
were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen forever!
And you could never win. The game just kept getting harder and
harder and faster and faster until you died! … Just like LIFE!
When you went to the movie theater there no such thing as
stadium seating.All the seats were the same height! If a tall guy or
some old broad with a hat sat in front of you and you couldn’t see, you
were just screwed!
Sure, we had cable television, but back then that was only like
15channels and there was no on screen menu and no remote control. You
had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was on! You
were screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get off your
ass and walk over to the TV to change the channel and there was no
Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons on Saturday Morning.
Do you hear what I’m saying!?! We had to wait ALL WEEK for
cartoons,
you spoiled little rat-bastards!
And we didn’t have microwaves, if we wanted to heat something
up, we had to use the stove or go build a frigging fire…imagine that!
If we wanted popcorn, we had to use that Stupid JiffyPop thing and shake
it over the stove forever like an idiot.
That’s exactly what I’m talking about!
You kids today have got it too easy. You’re spoiled.

wow this interview was intended to bring out the other side of the story, but guys its getting out of hand i mean you guys are pretty much comin up with your on conclusions on this and it is what it is..take it from a cat that strived on violence im trying my best to not resort to this way of being any more (honey attracks more bees) from past experiences i’ve had a number of runnins with quite a bit of people and in the long run it gets you alienated from events,shows,gatherings for painting activities,as well as money making opportunities..its a costly price to pay.For reacting as appose to responding. I dont shut the door on my past, but reflect on it for reference.I did make it easy for cats to just show up on the set and floss its the way I am and dont regret that either..we know how the old school cats get down back then most of the cats from today would have bin easy vics..so at least i was good for something,but heres the growth, when you can do for people and not attach an expectation to it then were talkin. Graff is the only category of expertise where there isn’t any reverence for innovation, style and or originators and impactors to the game. That’s why it’ll never amount to much more then memories and stories. Wow, You got at me first. I responded. I never disrespected anybody or said anything that wasn’t correct. Tryin to be a voice of reason. But you still cuttin me down. I’m a grown ass man and I act like it. I got a family and home to protect. And will at all costs. Its my constitutional right, you dig? Yo Per, I know. It was bought to my attention that the posts started again. I wanted to see if anybody “got it”. As you can see from above none of it has anything to do with painting. “somebody is a punk” or “Somebody is gonna get cracked” etc… sigh. In order for me to do a wall someone has to invite me. Judging by all the murders and ass beatings outlined weeks worth of posts it seems like a dangerous proposition to go out and paint? Thats why nobody is painting. If they are they’re not announcing it. I don’t have no walls. You got mad walls. I didn’t paint graff for 15 years. When I came out of my coma and was home again Nicer invited me and I got back on the horse. He literally had to teach me what cap goes with what paint as I did my piece and how to “cutback”etc… I still was in 1984 mode in 2000 at the Bronx Graff HOF. That was a cool experience. It was Crash, Daze, How, Nosm, Nicer, Bio, Bg183, Cem, Kenn, Seen, ACB and me. From there it has been very limited. Look on my site on the graffiti section. The bottom joints are all new. The chocolate brown joint on the bottom was that piece. BG did the spider and Bio did the blue forcefield. I thought it was a good effort considering how many years had passed. By the way I rocked a joint 2 weeks ago. But your’re absolutely right we should be talkin about graff, skills, technique, origins, history in comparison to the latest and greatest joint “we’ve” done. That’ll keep the cycle of evolution in graff in its proper order. Yo Per, many cats know how nice you are with the paint. Here’s some questions Stern forgot to ask you. How do you go about constructing an outline? Do you just freestyle on the wall or do you work it out? How do you structure your colors in reference to contrast and compliment? Do your colors depend on theme or does your background dictate what your fill will be or vice-versa? Are your backgrounds out of your mind or existing concepts with your twist? What kind of paint do you like for fill, outline, designs etc? What caps give you what effects? Do you do your fill first or last? Do you always outline old skool style or do you cut back only? When did you learn all that? Lets talk graff. Shit fuck it, I’m still learning, I want to know so maybe I won’t “embarass” myself. I need the help. Of course I’m gonna keep checkin. I care. Lets prove the “fraud DT” wrong.

“I always hated the gangsta part of graff though I got involved in it as a means of survival. Now at ??, with time as a backdrop, I view graff from a different perspective. Coming from the 70’s when graff was at its purest and most primitive, I miss that era most. Tag style was an artform. That has disappeared from the game. There was respect on the insides. That disappeared in the 80’s. Drippy tags were a sloppy mess. now dudes look for the drippiest markers possible. Now for the common characteristics of the graff writer: 1.) delusions of grandeur: we all think we’re famous , but in the true sense of the word we are famous to each other only. 2.) Haters: I’ve never seen a medium where dudes are so jealous and reluctant to give shine to the next man. 3.)Egomaniacs: When we write our names a million times on walls and trains we are really saying: look at me . I’m great! I’m the king! To put that in perspective take a look at Stay High 149 or Min and you can see what graff status means in the real world. It depresses the hell out of me, because I feel what these guys did had value. 4.) False sense of gangsterism: The whole vicking, beatdown , thugged out bullshit that comes with the territory. Maybe if I were cap or t. Kid I’d feel differently about this, but I never really wanted to hurt anyone or get hurt. I just wanted to get over! Taking all these factors into consideration I have severed most of my ties with all but a few of my graff friends. The trains were all I cared about and they’re gone. The bad qualities of the typical writer persist and don’t make most of these guys good friendship material. I respect you because you are a family man and don’t let your disability hamper you . As far as you as a writer, I never really heard of you as I had quit by the time you were most active. I see the flicks and you did your thing. You are right to call yourself a nobody in graff but to me we are all nobodies- famous and important only to ourselves”

I finally saw the DVD by EAZ you guys are all talking about here, to me the DVD is all fluff if you ask me its totally overpriced at that. I was not impressed at all because as I said it is maily all fluff, it did not show anything that you would not see in any other Graf Video out today, as for the cope appearance the same old thing nothing nerw to see, I must admit the graphics is hot though, I cant front on that part. I’m glad I baught the boot leg copy because its not worth what it is selling for, my suggestion to anyone who wants to see it do what I did buy a $5.00 bootleg version, its just as good as the original. It took a while to find it but I did, It may even be available for free somewhere on the net save your loot you’ll find it just like I did.
